Callum Waters

I met Callum on a trip to Vancouver on a rainy night. We met in a jazz club, he is passionate about art and music. Our connection was perfect and inevitable. For as long as he can remember, he has always expressed himself through craft and creativity. For the past three years he has been studying professionally for a career in design, while exploring new directions for creative media. This collection of work is titled "Currents" and was inspired by a photo book from a summer in Oaxaca, Mexico in the late 1980s. This signature pen-and-ink style of illustration is found in various projects I work on, but always in a different way. Currents was created using colored pencils and charcoal for the original illustrations, and then scanned for high quality prints! All work is done on 5x7 card stock and watercolor paper.
