Chen Ouyang
Chen Ouyang , is a painter based in Vancouver, Canada. Born in Beijing, China, Chen began her artistic career retouching and re-doing fashion designer sketches, making them presentable and useful for manufacturers and advertising.
I met Chen and her husband at a coffee shop in downtown Vancouver. It was an interesting meeting because we started our interaction because her husband liked my shoes. Then we started talking about various social issues. Finally, we made a connection with art. Chen's art is influenced by Buddhism, her Chinese culture and her life in Vancouver. She has had the opportunity to travel extensively and develop her creativity. She has made an inevitable transition in her artistic creation with oil painting, which allows her to express herself more faithfully to the inner vision she has of her subjects. In love with beauty, brilliance and space, her work surprises and delights her audience all over the world.
