This illustration was made by the English designer Darrell Krum. He also designed the cover of Danger Mouse's album, "Cheat code". Regarding "The Great Escape", my favorite track is "Ocean Sounds". This cover corresponds very well to the universe of the album. We are immersed in an energy of relaxation and vacations. Moreover, we can see a black hand behind the wheel of a car that seems to be a convertible, which could belong to Larry June. Also, the main character is wearing a watch that appears to be a luxury watch. Finally, we could suppose that the red bridge seems to be the Golden Gate Bridge of San Fransisco. Indeed, Larry June is native of this place and the city of San Frisisco, embodies a place where one can be on vacation, like a great escape. The atmosphere of this cover leads to a pleasant and luxurious life.
