Nas-King's Disease (2020)

This cover was made by the American artist Harmonia Rosales. She specializes in representing black characters in art, with some historical and religious references. My favorite track on this album is "All Bad" ft Anderson. Paak. The album cover incorporates various food items, including those mentioned earlier.

Additionally, it features the presence of red babies floating above a throne, which holds religious significance. These cherubic figures, with their wings and aged visages reminiscent of 13th to 17th-century artwork, symbolize innocence and purity. The placement of a crown on the seat signifies Nas' status as a prominent figure in hip-hop, highlighting his royalty within the genre. Furthermore, the inclusion of the year 2020 on the center serves as a reminder of the album's release date, ensuring it remains etched in memory. The album's title draws inspiration from the medical condition known as Gout, a type of inflammatory arthritis characterized by recurrent episodes of joint inflammation, resulting in a red, tender, hot, and swollen joint. Gout is often associated with habits such as regular consumption of beer or sugar-sweetened beverages, indulgence in purine-rich foods like liver, shellfish, or anchovies, and being overweight.
